We strongly encourage anyone that knows of a neglect or abuse situation to contact Animal Control and/or Local Law Enforcement before they contact ERLSI.  They are our strongest allies in these cases, and we cannot  do anything for these animals without their help!  (Harrison County may refer you back to us when you call them, but it is always good for them to be aware of the situation before you contact us.)
