Shadow was in a small mud lot with nothing to eat. Due to the lack of hay, and the high cost of grain this year his owner's couldn't afford to feed him anymore. After speaking with Clark County Animal Control they decided to release Shadow over to us.
Shadow is at least 300 pounds underweight and has rain rot. He will probably be with us all summer. He is a very sweet boy, and will be gelded as soon as he gains enough weight. Although he has had someone on his back, Shadow is not broke to ride yet, and we will not even consider putting anyone on him until he gains his weight back.
